Export product information and register on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website

You can export the product information to a CSV file to register your products on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website. Product registration helps you verify your products and manage all your critical Rockwell Automation products in one secure place.
To export the product information and register on the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website
  1. In the
    Asset Inventory
     window, click Product Registration.
  2. Use the
    Browse For Folder
     dialog box to configure a folder for the exported file.
  3. Click
    OK
    . The exported result is saved in the CSV format.
  4. Go to the Rockwell Automation Product Registration website and follow the on-screen steps to register your products with the exported CSV file.
    TIP:
    The number of exported files varies based on the completeness of device information. You must use the valid file to do the product registration.
    If all the scanned devices have either the information of
    Catalog Number
     and
    Warranty Number
     or
    CIP Serial Number
    , a file with the suffix
    valid
     will be exported. However, if any of the scanned devices does not have such information, the invalid ones will be exported in a file with the suffix
    invalid
    .
