Open an Asset Inventory backup file

You can open an Asset Inventory backup file to view or edit the scanning result. Make sure that you have the RAAI file copied to your local computer before attempting to open it.
To open an Asset Inventory backup file with standalone tool
  1. On
    FactoryTalk AssetCentre Inventory Viewer
    , select open.
  2. Find the RAAI file that you want to view or edit.
  3. Select
    Open.
    TIP:
    You can also modify the default program associated with the RAAI file type, which allows you to open the file without launching the FactoryTalk AssetCentre Inventory Viewer first.
    1. Right-click the RAAI file, and then select
      Properties
      .
    2. In the
      Opens with
       filed, select
      Change
      .
    3. Find and select
      FTACInventoryViewer
       in C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockwell Software\AssetCentre Tools\AssetCentre Inventory Viewer.
