Edit additional information

You can manually add details to the Asset Inventory result by editing the
Additional Information
 field.
To add details to the Asset Inventory result
  1. On the
    Devices
    tab in the
    FactoryTalk AssetCentre Inventory Viewer
     window, type the information in the
    Additional Information
     field. Or select browse button in the
    Additional Information 1
    or
    Additional Information 2
    or
    Additional Information 3
     column. The
    Additional Information
     dialog opens.
    TIP:
    You can change the default additional information column name
    Additional Information 1
    ,
    Additional Information 2
    , and
    Additional Information 3
    in
    FactoryTalk AssetCentre Client > Tools > Options > Asset Inventory
    .
  2. In the
    Additional Information
     dialog, type the information.
  3. Select
    OK
    . The additional information shows in the
    Additional Information
     column.
    TIP:
    The Asset Inventory undo button is available when changes are made to the additional information field. If you want to clear the changes made to additional information, select the Asset Inventory undo button.
