Turn on secure communication between the FactoryTalk AssetCentre server, desktop clients, web clients, and agents

Once you configured the TLS settings, turn on secure communication between the
FactoryTalk AssetCentre
 server, desktop clients, web clients, and agents in the
Configure Server Settings Utility
 window.
To enable secure communication
  1. On
    Configure Server Settings Utility
    :
    1. On the taskbar, select ic_search.
    2. In the search box, type
      Server Settings
      .
    3. Select
      FactoryTalk AssetCentre Server Settings
      .
  2. Enter the user name and password to sign in to
    FactoryTalk
    , and then select
    OK
    .
    In the
    Configure Server Settings Utility
     window, under
    Server Location
    , the domain name (FQDN) of the
    FactoryTalk AssetCentre
     server computer will be detected automatically.
    ic_search
  3. Select the
    Use the secure communication channel
     option.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
