About the Verify settings button

Validate whether the current total database size, event log size, audit log size, diagnostics and health log size, and asset versions meet each own specified threshold.
IMPORTANT: This operation is required when making any changes to the Database Limitations.
After you select the
Verify settings
button, the results will show on the right side of each setting, including total database size, event log size, audit log size, diagnostics and health log size, and asset versions. The
results mean
:
  • result pass : The item meets the specified threshold.
  • result fail : The item exceeds the specified threshold.
If the maximum number of versions per archive asset fails the validation, the
    Fail assets list
    button appears. Select the
    Fail assets list
button to show or hide the details of the failed assets.
    • Asset Path
: This column lists the path of the assets that exceed the specified threshold.
    • Current Size
: This column lists the status information for each item.
    • Configured Size
: This column lists the threshold that you specified for each item.
You can select the
Save results
button to save the scanned result.
  • If any item fails after the validation, the
    OK
button is not available in the
    Database Limitations
tab. The value you specified for each setting is not saved.
  • If all items pass after the validation, the
    OK
    button becomes available in the
    Database Limitations
    tab. You must click the
    OK
button to save the value and the value you specified for each setting is successfully saved.
