Configure notifications

Configure notifications to notify a user or a group of users when the check-in or check-out workflow starts.
To configure notifications
  1. On the
    Change Request Rules
     page, select
    Check Out
     or
    Check In
    .
  2. Select
    Create Rule
    .
  3. Select the
    Notifications
     tab.
  4. Select
    Require Approval
    .
  5. In the
    Select a Group
     dialog, select a group to approve the requests from users.
    (optional) To add a new group, select
    Create New Group
    .
    (optional) To customize the group, select
    Edit this Group
    .
  6. Select a
    Notification Method
    .
    You must select at least one notification method.
  7. Select
    Apply
    .
    To require minimum users from each group, select
    Require minimum from each group
    .
    To set notification interval, select
    Renotify if no response
    .
  8. (optional) To add more than one approval group, select
    Notify another
    .
  9. (optional) To notify another group of users if no response, select
    Escalate to another group if no response
    .
  10. Select
    Save
    .
