Toolbar in the archive workspace

The following table shows the toolbar buttons in the archive workspace and their meanings.

Descriptions
Check Out
Retrieve a copy of a file or binder and make it available for editing by placing it on your computer. Check out a file or binder so that only you can edit the file.
Check In
Check in a file or binder to return it to the archive database. Checking in a file or binder saves a new version and records the changes that you made to the file or binder. If there are no changes, a new version will not be created in the archive database.
Undo Check Out
Undo a check-out operation to revert the file to the previous version in the archive database and marks the file as checked in.
Unblock Workflow
Unblock a Management of Change workflow. This action reverts the Management of Change workflow status of a file or binder associated with the selected asset.
Get
Retrieve a read-only copy of a file to your computer so that you can access the file without modifying the master file.
Pin Version
Pin a version of a file or binder to mark it as the master file. You can pin only one version of a file or binder.
Remove Pin
Remove a pin from a version of a file or binder.
Promote
Make an old version of a file or binder as the most recent version.
New Label
Describe a version of a file or binder for easier identification and access later.
Remove Label
Remove a label from a version of a file or binder.
Backup to Config Data
Specify the version of a Backup Data binder to add it as the most recent version of the Configuration Data binder.
