State Definition

On the
State Definition
 page, the tags available in the added controller profile are displayed. The tags are sorted in alphabetical order. Follow the below steps to define the operational state of the component:
  1. Select the required tags from the list view displayed. Only the lowest-level tags can be selected to define the different operational states of the component.
    The array tags can be expanded and the individual elements can be selected. The user can also search the required tags using the search functionality and select them as required.
    IMPORTANT: The boolean arrays are not supported in FactoryTalk Analytics GuardianAI.
  2. Drag and drop the selected tag to the
    Selected tags
     section to define the operational states of the component.
  3. Click
    Save
    . The "
    State definition configuration saved.
    " message is displayed.
  4. Click
    Next
    .
