Points view parameters (output)

The
Points
view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Output State During
Determines the output points behavior in the Program and Fault mode.
  • Program Mode
Determines each output's behavior when the controller transitions to the Program mode. The available values are:
  • Off
    - output is 0 or OFF in the Program mode.
  • On
    - output is 1 or ON in the Program mode.
  • Hold
    - output maintains last state in the Program mode.
While in the Program mode, outputs from the controller are ignored and the output behaves according to one of the above.
  • Fault Mode
Determines the output points behavior after a communication fault occurs and the device enters the Communications Fault mode.
The available values are:
  • Off
    - output is 0 or OFF in the Communications Fault mode.
  • On
    - output is 1 or ON in the Communications Fault mode.
  • Hold
    - output maintains the current level in the Communications Fault mode.
Fault Mode Output State
Determines how the output point transitions from the Fault mode.
  • Duration
Indicates the time the output remains in the Fault mode before transitioning to the final state.
The available values are:
  • Forever
  • 1 Second
  • 2 Seconds
  • 5 Seconds
  • 10 Seconds
  • Final State
Determines whether the device transitions to an On or Off state after the Fault mode duration time elapses. The default final state is Off. If you choose
Forever
for
Duration
, you cannot choose a final state. The device retains its current Fault mode state.
Electronic Fuse
Sends a Reset Fuse message to the device for the appropriate point.
When Communication Fails in Program Mode
Sets the result of a communication failure in the Program mode:
  • Leave outputs in Program Mode state.
  • Change outputs to Fault Mode state.
