Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK), the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, will showcase its latest technology and solutions during SPS Italia (Parma, May 23-25), Italy's leading event dedicated to smart manufacturing technologies.
Rockwell Automation will take this opportunity to focus on one of the key aspects of the smart factory, introducing its innovative visualization and digital engineering solutions portfolio. During the three-day event, the company will host nine free workshops and take the stage with several specialist presentations offering customers a comprehensive overview of FactoryTalk® Design Hub™.
FactoryTalk Design Hub enables seamless digital thread connectivity between its design, visualization, digital twin, storage, and remote access software tools, providing control system developers with immediate on-demand access to all automation designs as needed, regardless of their location. This helps companies accelerate initiatives ranging from digital transformation to IT/OT convergence. The focus will be on two of the latest solutions introduced to the market: FactoryTalk® Optix™ and FactoryTalk® Twin Studio™.
FactoryTalk Optix is a cloud-based HMI that enables collaborative work in a smart-factory environment. It is an innovative cross-platform, scalable and interoperable SaaS solution that allows the development, simulation and deployment of advanced HMIs, while keeping track of changes and versioning automatically. FactoryTalk Optix takes HMI functionality to a new level - so much so that Rockwell Automation calls it a "visualization tool for visionaries."
FactoryTalk Twin Studio is an end-to-end cloud automation design solution where users can design, program, simulate, emulate, and virtually commission in one cloud environment, accessible from anywhere, using a web browser. FactoryTalk Twin Studio allows users to develop their next project better and faster by moving seamlessly across Rockwell design solutions, collaborating with teammates in real time.
Attendees can learn more about visualization during a keynote speech, by participating in conferences, and can see them in action by trying the solutions hands-on.
At the ASEM booth (Hall 6, Stand j012), there will be an opportunity to fully explore the capabilities offered by the visualization platform. This Italian company, acquired by Rockwell Automation in 2020, specializes in supplying digital technologies for automation. At the booth directly in front of ASEM, Technology BSA, an authorized Rockwell Automation distributor, will showcase the innovative digital engineering Emulate3D software connected to iTrak, Rockwell Automation's independent cart technology, all controlled by an ASEM HMI.
