Edit an I/O mapping definition

Edit an I/O mapping definition to modify the name or device status when the device is on or off.
IMPORTANT: I/O mapping definitions apply to all lineups in a project. Any changes to existing I/O mapping definitions impact all lineups that use the definition.
  1. In
    I/O Mapping
     view, select
    Edit I/O Mapping Definitions
    .
  2. In
    I/O Mapping Definitions
    , select the row of the definition and then select
    Edit
    .
  3. In
    Edit I/O Mapping Definition
    , edit:
    • Name
      . Type a new name for the definition.
      TIP: The definition name must be unique for I/O Type.
    • Device Status when On
      . Select the desired status.
    • Device Status when Off
      . Select the desired status.
      TIP: You can double-click a column entry to edit the name or device status for a definition.
      TIP: You cannot change the the I/O Type for an existing I/O mapping definition.
  4. Select
    OK
     to apply the changes or
    Cancel
     to not save the changes.
Changes to the I/O mapping definition are applied to all lineups that use the definition.
