Select remote LCD variables to monitor

Use the
LCD variables
 view to select the variables you want to monitor using the remote LCD.
Prerequisites
  • The controller is offline.
  • Download the project and project values to the controller.
To select LCD variables to monitor
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Remote LCD
    .
  3. On the
    Remote LCD
     configuration page, select
    LCD variables
    .
  4. In
    LCD variables
    , select the
    LCD display
     checkbox of the variables you want to monitor.
  5. Verify that
    Communication
     is not set to
    No access
     for the variables that you want to monitor.
