Remove remote LCD overwrite for serial port settings

By default, remote LCD settings overwrite the Common Industrial Protocol settings configured on the
Serial Port
 configuration page for L20E controllers that support remote LCD.
Clear the
Configure the serial port for remote LCD
 checkbox to remove the remote LCD overwrite for serial port settings.
To remove remote LCD overwrite for serial port settings
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Remote LCD
    .
  3. On the
    Remote LCD
     configuration page, clear the
    Configure the serial port for remote LCD
     checkbox.
  4. Select the
    serial port
     link to open the
    Serial Port
     configuration page, and then configure the serial port settings as needed.
