Export data log files from the controller to the local drive

Use the
Manage data logs
 button on the Data Log configuration page to export data log files from the controllers to the local drive. Export data log files to save backups in case of an unexpected data loss or to free up space on the SD memory card.
By default, data log files are exported to the Downloads folder with the following file name:
  • DataLog_<yyyymmdd>_<hhmmss>.m8a
  • DataLog_<yyyymmdd>_<hhmmss>.xlsx
To export data log files from the controller to the local drive
  2. Export the data log file by doing one of the following:
    • Select Export data logs to XLSX file button to export an XLSX file.
    • Select Export data logs to M8A file button to export a M8A file.
      Use the Settings page from the
      File
       menu to specify whether to reserve the folder structure of the data log files or export all data logs to one TXT file.
  3. (optional) In
    Export
    , select the export path and enter the file name as needed.
  4. Select
    Save
    .
