Add data set details

Data set details are optional configurations for a data set. Use the
Data set details
 dialog to do the following actions:
  • Change the character that separates cells in a data set file. The default separator is comma.
  • Add descriptions to a data set. You can enter up to 100 characters.
Prerequisites
To add data set details
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller application workspace.
  2. In the
    Controller
     tree, select
    Data Log
    .
  3. On the
    Data Log
     configuration page, from the
    Data Log
     list, select Settings icon beside the data set.
  4. In
    Data set details
    , select the separator and enter the data set description.
  5. Select
    OK
    .
