2080-RTD2 and 2080-TC2 global variable data maps

The bit words describe the information that is read from the 2080-RTD2 and 2080-TC2 plug-in modules in the global variable grid of
FactoryTalk Design Workbench
.

The temperature data for channel 0 and channel 1
The temperature count maps from temperature Celsius degree with one decimal.

Information on channel 0 and channel 1
Bits:
  • 0 to 2
    : Reserved.
  • 3
    -
    CC
(Code Calibrated): The bit is set (1) to indicate that the temperature data is calibrated by the system calibration coefficient.
  • 4
    -
    DI
(Data Illegal): The bit is set (1) to indicate that the data in the channel data field is not correct and cannot be used.
  • 5
    -
    OC
(Open Circuit): The bit is set (1) to indicate an open circuit on the channel input sensor.
  • 6
    -
    UR
(Underrange): The bit is set (1) to indicate that the channel input is under the defined range. The channel temperature data shows the minimum temperature count for the sensor type. The bit is set to 0 when the underrange error is cleared.
  • 7 - OR
(Overrange): The bit is set (1) to indicate that the channel input exceeds the defined range. The channel temperature data shows the maximum temperature count for the sensor type. The bit is set to 0 when the overrange error is cleared.
  • 8 to 13
    : Reserved.
  • 14
    -
    UKR
(Unknown Rate): The bit is set (1) to report an unknown update rate error in the configuration.
  • 15
    -
    UKT
(Unknown Type): The bit is set (1) to report an unknown sensor type error in the configuration.

System information
Bits:
  • 0 to 7
    : Reserved.
  • 8
    -
    CE
(Calibration Error): The bit is set (1) to indicate that the module is not accurate. The bit is set to 0 by default and remains as 0. Contact Technical Support when the value is otherwise.
  • 9
    -
    COC
(Cold Junction Compensation Open Circuit): The bit is set (1) to indicate the CJC sensor is not connected for the thermocouple module, open circuit. The bit is for the thermocouple module only.
  • 10
    -
    SUR
(System Underrange): The bit is set (1) to indicate a system underrange error with the environment temperature being under –20 °C.
  • 11
    -
    SOR
(System Overrange): The bit is set (1) to indicate a system overrange error with the environment temperature being over 70 °C.
  • 12 to 15
    : Reserved.
