Create a controller project

Use the steps to create a
FactoryTalk Design Workbench
 project for the Traffic Light example, add an L70E controller, and open the controller workspace from
Project Organizer
.
To create a controller project
  1. Open
    FactoryTalk Design Workbench
    .
  2. Create a controller project.
    1. On the
      Welcome
       page, select
      New project
      .
    2. In
      New project
      , enter the project name (
      Traffic_Light
      ), and then select
      Create
      .
  3. Add a controller.
    1. In
      Add device
      , select
      2080-L70E-24QBB
       by entering its catalog number or scrolling through the list to locate it.
    2. In
      Selection
      , enter the controller name, and then select the controller
      Revision
      .
    3. Select
      Add
      .
