Add a plug-in module

Use the steps to enter a description for the controller and add two plug-in modules.
To add a plug-in module
  1. In
    Project Organizer
    , double-click the controller to open the controller workspace.
  2. Enter a description for the controller.
    1. From the
      Controller
       tree, select
      General
      .
    2. On the
      General
       configuration page, in
      Description
      , enter
      Traffic Light
      .
  3. Add two plug-in modules to the controller.
    1. In
      Project Organizer
      , expand
      I/O Configurations
      .
    2. Right-click
      Plug-in
      , and then select
      New module
      .
    3. In
      Add module
      , select
      2080-MEMBAK-RTC2
      , and then select
      Add
      .
    4. In
      Devices definition
      , select
      OK
      .
    5. Repeat steps from a through d to add the 2080-IF4 plug-in module to the controller.
  4. Save the project by doing one of the following:
    • From the menu bar, select save button.
    • From the
      File
       menu, select
      Save
      .
