1. Create and Complete Your Rockwell Automation Account

If you already have a Rockwell Automation account with a completed profile, proceed to Step 2.

If this is your first time accessing Rockwell Automation's download site, create an account here:

Important: We strongly recommend using your company or school-affiliated email address when creating your account. Using a personal email address may delay account verification and approval.

After creating your account, sign in and complete your account profile. The Account Profile Dashboard will display any remaining steps required before you can access software downloads.

Before you can download Arena®, you must:

Complete any missing information in the Personal Information section of your profile.
Add a Location to your profile.

Note: Creating an account does not automatically associate you with your company or school. You must add your organization as a Location in your profile before software downloads will be available.

To add a location:

Click the location request link displayed on your Account Profile Dashboard, or
Select Locations from the Access section of your profile.

You will then:

Search for your company or school.
Select the appropriate organization.
Add it to your profile.

Important: You will not be able to download Arena® until your profile is fully completed and a location has been added to your account.

If your company or school cannot be found, contact Rockwell Automation Customer Care and request that the organization be added. You can access Customer Care by selecting the Customer Care link at the bottom of any Rockwell Automation webpage and choosing the appropriate contact method.

2. Download Arena®

Once your account profile has been completed, download Arena® from:

If the download link does not work, you can also access Arena® through Rockwell Automation's Product Compatibility and Download Center (PCDC):

Search for Arena® to locate the download.

3. Run the Download Manager

In most cases, the downloaded executable will automatically launch the download manager and download the Arena® installation files to the C:\RA folder.

If the download manager does not run automatically:

Open your Downloads folder.
Locate and double-click the downloaded executable file.
The Arena® installation files will be downloaded to the C:\RA folder.

4. Install Arena®

Navigate to the C:\RA folder.
Extract the installation files.
Open the MediaImage folder.
Double-click AutoRun.exe to begin the installation.

Important: You must extract the installation files before running the installer. Attempting to install directly from the zipped files will result in installation errors.
