License points for the data transfer

The data transfer subsystem works with the data storage and the data collection services to transfer historical and real-time data to a

FactoryTalk® Historian Site Edition

(SE) or PI server. Before you can transfer data to FactoryTalk Historian SE, you must first purchase a point license for FactoryTalk Historian SE. The point license determines the number of points that can be transferred to FactoryTalk Historian SE. For each FactoryTalk Historian ME, the licensed limit is 2500 points.
