Install the certificate using the Certificate Import Wizard

To import the certificate using the Certificate Import Wizard
  1. On the
    Welcome…
     page, click
    Next
    .
  2. Click the
    Place all certificates in the following store
     option, and then click
    Browse
    .
    The
    Select Certificate Store
     dialog box appears.
  3. Select
    Trusted Root Certification Authorities
    .
    TIP:
    To show the certificate storage hierarchy and allow you to expand the listed stores, select the
    Show physical stores
     checkbox. Then, under
    Trusted Root Certification Authorities
    , select
    Local Computer
    .
  4. Click
    OK
    .
  5. Verify that the selected certificate store is set to
    Trusted Root Certification Authorities
    , and then click
    Next
    .
  6. Click
    Finish.
    A warning message appears.
  7. Click
    Yes
    , and wait for a message informing you that the import was successful.
  8. Click
    OK
     to close the message, and then click
    OK
     to close the
    Certificate
     dialog box.
  9. Exit Internet Explorer.
  10. Open the FactoryTalk Historian ME website again.
    The closed padlock icon next to the address indicates that the certificate is installed properly.
