Enable TLS

The FactoryTalk Historian ME website requires TLS 1.2. Make sure that TLS 1.2 is enabled.
To enable TLS
  1. On the
    Tools
     menu, click
    Internet Options
    .
    The
    Internet Options
     dialog box appears.
    TIP:
    If the top menu is not visible, press the left Alt key on your keyboard to bring up the top menu.
  2. Click the
    Advanced
     tab, and then under
    Settings
     select the following checkboxes:
    • Use TLS 1.0
    • Use TLS 1.1
    • Use TLS 1.2
  3. For security reasons, clear the following checkboxes:
    • Use SSL 2.0
    • Use SSL 3.0
  4. Click
    OK
