EDS files

Electronic Data Sheet (EDS) files are simple text files used by network configuration tools to help you identify products, and easily commission them on a network.

The EDS files for the Historian series A module are located on the FactoryTalk Historian ME installation DVD in the

\3.xx.xx-FTHistorianME\EDS

folder. The files are currently a part of the RSLinx Classic product installation.

The EDS files for the Historian series B and series C module can be downloaded directly from the device. The files will be a part of the RSLinx Classic product installation for newer versions of RSLinx Classic.
