Use Logic to Monitor Status
IMPORTANT:
When programming your system, program so that your system status is continually monitored and displayed on your HMI device.
If your system becomes disqualified or a switchover occurs, the change in status is not automatically annunciated. You must program the system to communicate the change in status via your HMI or other status-monitoring device.
For most applications, you must program to obtain the status of the system. Program to obtain system status when you do the following:
- Program HMI to display the system status
- Precondition logic to execute based on the system status
- Use the diagnostic information to troubleshoot the system
