ChX view parameters
The
ChX
view includes these parameters:
TIP:
The available parameters vary based on the device being configured.
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Input Type | Specifies the input type. Available options are:
|
Input Range | Specifies the operating range of the selected channel. |
Sensor Offset | Specifies an offset value that is added to the input during the calibration calculation to compensate for inaccuracies of the sensor. |
Engineering Units | Specifies the name of the engineering unit. |
High Signal | Specifies the high scaling value in signal units, volts or milliamps. You must set this input point within the device default signal range. This value is scaled to the High Engineering value. |
High Engineering | Specifies the value in user engineering units to which High Signal should be scaled. All values sent to and from the device are in engineering units. |
Low Signal | Specifies the low scaling value in signal units, volts or milliamps. You must set this input point within the device default signal range. This value is scaled to the Low Engineering value. |
Low Engineering | Specifies the value in user engineering units to which Low Signal should be scaled. All values sent to/from the device are in engineering units. |
Digital Filter | Specifies the time constant, in milliseconds, for a digital first order lag filter on the input. The digital filter smooths input data noise transients for the selected channel on the module. A value of 0 disables the filter. |
