Configure alarms

Use the
Alarms
 view to configure process alarms and rate alarms on non-isolated analog input devices for each channel. For 1756-IF8 and 1756-IF16, the
ChX
 and
Alarms
 views are available only when
Data Format
 is set to
Float
.
To configure the alarms on non-isolated analog input devices
  1. On the tab for the device, expand
    Channels
     or
    Input Channels
    , and then expand
    ChX
    .
  2. Select
    Alarms
    .
  3. In the
    Alarms
     view, customize the parameters as needed.
  4. Select
    OK
     to save the changes.
