Use y-axis cursors (XY Plot)

When the Y cursor is enabled, two horizontal cursors that slide along the Y-axis display. Each cursor can be operated individually. You can also use the X-axis cursor with the Y-axis cursor.
Cursors:
  • Can be used while zooming in on data.
  • Allow panning of data.
  • Display values of data points that touch the cursor.
To use y-axis cursors
  1. On the toolbar, click
    Y-axis Cursors

  2. Drag each cursor up or down on the plot surface.
    The value difference displays between the two cursors for the active trace if the y-axes are overlayed. You can tell which trace is active by matching the color of the box around the data point value to the
    Style
    color for the trace in the
    Trace List
    .
    If the y-axes are stacked, the cursors display the value difference between the two cursors for one or more traces, depending on where the cursors are anchored.
  3. Click a different trace in the
    Trace List
    to view the value difference for that trace.
