Refine shapes (XY Plot)

Refine a shape by automatically adding points that are defined by the underlying data, to give added granularity to shape definition. The disadvantage of refining a shape is that it adds many more data points to the shape, which can make it difficult to drag points.
To refine a shape
  1. Right-click the plot surface and select
    Shape > Refine
    .
  2. Right-click the plot surface and select
    Shape > Edit
     to view the added points.
