Description
Deadbands
Use one of the following options to limit the number of rows returned by the function.
  • Click the
    Time
check box to define absolute spacing of rows in time when you do not want rows more closely spaced in time than the time you define. For example, if a value changes 50 times in one second, you only want one row every second.
    • Select the number of milliseconds to use for the deadband. If you do not enter a value, a time dead band is not applied.
  • Click the
    Value
check box to only consider a value to have changed if it has changed by at least "this much".
Select the number to use for the deadband. The engineering unit of the tag determines how the value deadband is evaluated. For example, if the engineering unit is a percentage, 5 would represent 5 percent.
Any data values that change less than the specified deadband will not be returned. The value is a percentage of full scale, in engineering units. If you do not enter a value, a deadband will not be applied.
    Note:
This option only supports Historian tags.
Quality
Uses the standard quality property stored with a tag on most historians to determine whether results are returned.
Advanced
Sets a maximum number of rows to return.
  • Click the
    Data overload protection
check box to limit the maximum number of rows that are returned. Clear this check box to return all rows, regardless of how many rows exist.
This setting can help avoid result sets that are too large to manage. When result sets are too large, the application may stop responding until a time-out is generated.
  • In the
    Retrieval limit
box, select the maximum number of rows to return.
Version
Retrieves the latest data values or the original values stored with the item.
