Troubleshooting: Grid lines are missing from a trend chart

Problem
A trend chart does not show horizontal, or vertical grid lines.
Cause
Several settings control the display of grid lines. Set up options for horizontal grid lines on the
Y-Axis
 tab. Set up options for vertical grid lines on the
X-Axis
tab.
Solutions
On the
Y-Axis
, or
X-Axis
 tab, check the following:
  • Verify that the
    Display Grid Lines
     check box is selected.
  • Verify that the number of major, or minor grid lines is set to a number greater than zero.
  • Verify that the grid color is not the same color as the chart background. Set up the chart background color on the
    Display
    tab.
