Set up FactoryTalk Directory for data logging

The logging information can be sent to various destinations. The destinations that are available depends on how your system is set up.
To set up
FactoryTalk Diagnostics
:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , from the menu, click
    Tools
     >
    Diagnostics Setup
    .
  2. In the
    Diagnostics Setup
     window, double-click
    Destination Setup
    , and then click a destination from the list to configure.
  3. To set up which types of messages are sent to which destinations, click
    Message Routing
    . For more information about setting up
    FactoryTalk Diagnostics
    , click
    Help
    .
  4. To view information in the Diagnostics List, in
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , from the menu, click
    View
    >
    Diagnostics List
     if it does not have a check beside it. If it does have a check beside it, it should be visible at the bottom of the
    FactoryTalk View Studio
     window.
  5. To view information in the Diagnostics Viewer, in
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , from the menu, click
    Tools
     >
    Diagnostics Viewer
    .
