Select files to import strings from

If you are importing strings from Unicode files, the title of the window in the String Import Export wizard where you select the files is Select Files, for a network distributed application, or Select File for a local station application. If you are importing strings from an Excel file, the window title is Select File.
To select Unicode files to import strings from:
  • Click the
    browse button (...)
     to navigate to a folder and select one or more files, then click
    Finish
     to complete the operation. The import operation assumes that any file selected for import is for the language that is currently selected in the General tab of the Language Configuration dialog box.
    You can select multiple files for a network distributed application, or one file for a local station application.
To select an Excel file to import strings from:
  • Click the
    browse button (...)
     to navigate to the Excel file you plan to import strings from, then click
    Finish
     to complete the operation.
