Create global objects

All of the graphic objects and groups of graphic objects on a global object display are global objects. You create global objects on displays in the
Global Objects
folder, the same way you create graphic objects on standard displays in the
Displays
folder.
TIP:
When you copy a global object onto a standard display, the copy becomes a reference object, and the original global object on the global objects display is its base object.
If multiple base objects are grouped, the group can be referenced from a standard display, as well as the individual objects in the group.
To create global objects:
In the Graphics editor, do one of the following:
  • On a global object display, draw a global object.
  • From a standard graphic display, another global object display, or library, copy and paste a global object.
  • From a standard graphic display, another global object display, or library, drag and drop a global object.
