FactoryTalk View SE commands

When a
FactoryTalk View
command is issued from a
FactoryTalk View SE
Client, for example from a graphic display, it is validated for security privileges and then processed. Some commands are processed on the client, while others are ignored or else sent to the HMI server for processing. See Help on individual commands for details.
All commands issued by the
FactoryTalk View SE
Client that are processed on the HMI server, are logged to FactoryTalk Diagnostics on the server.
If a command cannot be processed or generates an error, an error message is logged to FactoryTalk Diagnostics on the SE Client. It can also appear in the Diagnostics List on the SE Client if it has been set up to do so.
When you issue a command from a
FactoryTalk View SE
Client that is to be processed on the HMI server, it will be processed in the context of the client user. The security privileges of the user currently logged on to the server do not matter.
