Browse for an area

Use the Area Browser to browse through the areas of the currently open application, and to select an area. The Area Browser is available where you are required to select an area, for example in the Command Wizard or
FactoryTalk View SE
 Client Wizard.
TIP:
If the area that is selected is a sub-area of the home area, the
Area Browser
 returns a relative reference to the calling program. Otherwise, the
Area Browser
 returns an absolute reference to the calling program.
To browse for an area:
  1. In a dialog box or window that contains an
    Area
     field, click the
    Browse (...)
     beside the
    Area
     field to open the
    Area Browser
    .
  2. Double-click the application's icon to expand its area folders if they are not visible.
  3. Click an area to select it. Double-click an area to display its subareas, if it has any.
  4. Click
    OK
     to return the area name to the calling program.
