Snap to grid

The grid can be active or inactive. When the grid is active all the objects you draw, except freehand and input objects, are pulled to the closest grid point.
Deactivate the grid to draw or position an element between the grid lines. Activate the grid to automatically align the next object you draw or place. Existing objects are not aligned when the grid is active unless they are moved.
To snap to grid, on a graphic display, do one of the following:
  • On the menu, select
    View
     >
    Snap On
    .
  • In the Graphics editor, select
    View
    >
    Grid Settings
    , and then select the
    Snap to Grid
     check box.
