Change the appearance of a line object

Use the
Line Properties
 dialog box of a line object to change its color, style, width, and other properties.
To change the appearance of a line:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
    editor, right-click the line object and select
    Properties
    .
  2. In the
    Line Properties
     dialog box, in the
    General
     tab, change the following options if required:
    • Line and background styles
    • Background and foreground colors
    • Line width
      TIP:
      Line style uses both the foreground color and background color attributes. Foreground color applies to the line, and background color applies to the spaces in the line.
      For example, to obtain the dash-dot line, choose black as the foreground color, and choose white as the background color. Black is applied to the dots and dashes and white is applied to the spaces between the dots and dashes.
  3. In the
    Common
     tab, change the size, position, name, tooltip text, and visibility if required.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
