The following table shows options under

Options
Description
Border style
Select the border style for the object.
Border width
Type the number of pixels for the width of the object’s border.
Back style
Select whether the object background is solid or gradient. If you select Gradient, the object's background is filled with a linear gradient color.
Pattern style
Select a pattern for the object. The pattern appears on the face of the object. The pattern does not cover the object’s border or captions (if any are defined for the object). If the object’s back style is gradient, the pattern is not visible.
Border uses back color
Select this check box to use the object’s background color for the border of the button. If this is not selected, you can assign a separate color to the border, instead of using the object’s background color.
Back color
This field displays the current background color for the object. Click it to select another color. If the background style is gradient, click it to bring up the gradient fill dialog box to configure the gradient fill.
Border color
This field displays the border color for the object. Click it to select another color. If Border uses back color is not selected, this color appears at runtime.
Pattern color
This field displays the current pattern color for the object. Click it to select another color.
Selection fore color
This field displays the color for the caption on the highlighted state. Click it to select another color.
Selection back color
This field displays the color for the highlight bar. Click it to select another color. The highlight bar indicates the current state at runtime.
Blink
Select this check box if the object’s background is to blink at runtime. The blink rate is twice per second. At runtime the selected state does not blink; only the background of the object blinks.
If you select a pattern style, the pattern also blinks.

Description
Font
Select the font to use for the caption.
Size
Select the font size to use for the caption.
Bold (B), Italic (I), Underline (U)
Click a letter, or letters, to specify the font style for the caption, if required.
Caption truncate
When a caption is truncated, the application places an asterisk (*) at the right end of the caption to indicate that text is missing.
Word
Click Word if captions that exceed the maximum length are to be cut off at the beginning of a new word.
Character
Click Character if the caption is to be cut off whenever the maximum caption length is reached, even if this occurs in the middle of a word.
The maximum caption length depends on the width of the selector and the font size.

Number of states
Select the number of states for the object.

Description
Write on enter
Select this check box to write to the data source when the operator presses an Enter key button or the Enter key on a keyboard or keypad, while the piloted control list selector is the selected object on the display.
If you do not check this box, the application writes the state value to the data source as soon as a new state is selected.
Key navigation
Select this check box to allow the user to navigate to the object using the keyboard and give the object input focus.
Wrap around
Select this check box to allow the list to wrap from the end of the list to the beginning when scrolling down, and from the beginning of the list to the end when scrolling up.
