Magnify a display

The
Zoom In
option on the
View
menu allows you to magnify one or more objects in a graphic display in more detail, making it easier to draw.
TIP:
Use the
Cancel Zoom
option to return the display to its original size.
To magnify objects:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
    editor, select the object or objects to magnify.
  2. Select
    View
    >
    Zoom In
    . The selected objects will be centered in the magnified view of the display.
  3. Use the scroll bars to view areas of the graphic display that are not immediately visible.
To magnify the display:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the
    Graphics
    editor, right-click anywhere in the display and select
    Display Settings
    .
  2. In the
    Display Settings
    dialog box, in the
    Properties
    tab, make sure the
    Size
    property is set to
    Specify Size in Pixels
    .
  3. In the
    Graphics
    editor, in the editing window, drag the sides of the display to enlarge it to the required size. Dotted lines indicate the display's original size.
  4. Right-click the display and click
    Zoom to Fit
    . The display is resized maintaining its aspect ratio, or relative sizes and positions of the objects in the display.
    TIP:
    If the
    Size
    property is set to
    Use Current Size
    ,
    Zoom to Fit
    behaves the same as Cancel Zoom.
