Options in the Touch tab

The following table shows options on the tab.
Options
Description
Press action
Specify the macro or command that will run when the object is pressed.
You can also click the browse button
(...)
to open the command wizard and use it to create the command string.
Repeat action
Specify the macro or command that will run at the repeat rate when the object is pressed.
You can also click the browse button

to open the command wizard and use it to create the command string.
Release action
Specify the macro or command that will run when the object is released.
You can also click the browse button
(...)
to open the command wizard and use it to create the command string.
Repeat rate (Seconds)
Specify the number of seconds, (for example 2.5), that the object must be pressed for the repeat action to take place. As long as the object is pressed the action is repeated at this rate (that is, every two and a half seconds).
Touch Style
Specify the how the touch is displayed, including:
  • Rectangular
    Select this option to specify the rectangular bounding box as the touch area.
  • Irregular
    Select this option to specify the object outline as the touch area.
Confirm Action
The check box is enabled after you specify the release action.
Select this check box to show a confirmation popup dialog box of the release action. Click
Configure
to configure the appearance of the dialog box.
