Visualization files

Adding the Library of Process Objects adds these visualization files to your HMI server.
Files
Description
Standard displays (.gfx)
(raP-
version
-SE) precedes name of the display, where
version
 is the Library of Process Objects version, for example (raP-5_20-SE), which is version 5.20.
Global objects (.ggfx)
(raP-
version
-SE) precedes name of the global objects, where
version
 is the Library of Process Objects version, for example (raP-5_20-SE), which is version 5.20.
Help files (.pdf)
The PDF documents can be displayed from the FactoryTalk View displays by clicking the Help button.
Images (.png)
All PNG files in the images folder.
Common icons are used in the global objects and standard displays for all process objects.
Multi-language strings (.xls and .txt)
FTView SE Process Library
version
 Language Import.xls and FTViewSE_ProcessLibraryLanguage_
LanguageIdentifier
.txt files. If the language of your project is not English, you can use the .xls file to import all multiple languages at one time or use the .txt file to import one language at a time.
Before importing, make sure to change the server information using this format
/Application/Area:HMIServer
, for example
/FTViewDemo/Line1_HMI:FTViewDemo_HMI
.
  • For the
    .xls
     file, change the
    Server
     column.
  • For the
    .txt
     files, change the
    # /Lng_PlantPAx_
    version
    :Lng_PlantPAx_
    version
     line.
Local messages (.loc)
Local message files used by raP_Opr_EMGen, raP_Opr_EPGen, and raP_Opr_Unit.
Macros (.mcr)
Macro files for the process objects.
HMI tags (.csv)
FTViewSE_ProcessLibrary_Tags.csv.
HMI tags can be imported via the comma-separated values file (.csv).
