Delete project files of an HMI server

If you restored the wrong HMI server project, or restored to the wrong computer, you may need delete the HMI server's project files.
Before you delete the HMI server's project files, you need stop the HMI server and prevent remote clients from starting it.
To delete the HMI server's project files:
  1. Open Windows Explorer, and then open the folder where the HMI server's project files are located. By default, the location of this folder is C:\Users\Public\Documents\RSView Enterprise\SE\HMI projects.
  2. In the HMI projects folder, delete the folder with the same name as the HMI server you restored accidentally. For example, the files belonging to an HMI server named Packaging are stored in: ...\RSView Enterprise\SE\HMI projects\Packaging.
    IMPORTANT:
    When you are finished, enable the Rockwell HMI Framework service again, by changing its
    Startup type
    to
    Automatic
    , and then restart the computer.
