Delete or stop the default website

Once the
FactoryTalk View
 SE server custom website has been created, it is best to delete or stop the default website in IIS, if it is not being used for other software applications.
If the default website is used for other purposes, be sure to delete the following directories from the website:
  • RSViewSE
  • RSViewActiveXControlSetup
To delete or stop the default website
  1. On each HMI server computer, select
    Start > Windows System > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager > Sites
    .
  2. From the
    Sites
    list, select the site and click
    Remove
    , or
    Stop
    from the
    Manage Website
    menu on the right.
