Value (numeric or tring input)
A read-write connection. Assign a tag to this connection.
At runtime the operator can type a value into the numeric input object on a display and download the value to the tag’s data source. The operator can also issue an upload command that will read the tag's value from the data source and display in the string input object.
TIP:
When you create a numeric input object on a display, you can check the Continuously update check box in the Numeric Input Properties dialog, to have the value in the numeric input object updated whenever the value of the tag changes at the source.
