Add a device

Manually add a device to a zone or to the devices list.
TIP: To add a discovered device, see Add discovered devices.
  1. From the navigation bar, either:
    • Select
      Canvas
       and then select a zone or
      Unassigned
       to contain the device.
    • Select
      Zones
       and then select a zone to contain the device.
    • Select
      Devices
       to contain the device in the devices list not assigned to any zones.
  2. Either:
    • In
      Canvas
      , from the navigation bar, select
      Create New
      Device
      .
      TIP: You can also right-click a zone or
      Unassigned
       and then select
      Add Device
      .
    • In
      Zones
       or
      Devices
      , from the navigation bar, select
      Add Device
      .
  3. Select the device type and then select
    OK
    .
  4. In
    PROPERTIES
    , edit the device properties and ports properties.
