Advanced Network Configuration parameters (Duplex)
Use the settings in
Advanced Network Configuration
to configure advanced network properties.The information is only available when the application is online, and there is no communication error in the device profile.
Parameters | Description |

Network mode | Shows that the device profile is online to a Device Level Ring (DLR) device. |
Network topology | Displays the current network topology as follows:

Active ring supervisor | Displays the IP Address or MAC Address of the Active Ring Supervisor. Only available when the device is in Ring network. |
Active supervisor precedence | Displays the precedence currently assigned to the active ring supervisor. Only available when the device is in a Ring network. |
Supervisor precedence | Specifies the supervisor precedence number. Acceptable values: 0…255. |
Supervisor status | Displays the status of the supervisor. Only available when Supervisor mode is enabled. Available values:

Supervisor mode | Displays whether the Supervisor mode is enabled. |
Beacon interval | Specifies the frequency that the supervisor transmits a beacon frame through both of its ring ports. See user manuals for valid ranges for the device. Only available when Supervisor mode is enabled. |
Beacon timeout | Specifies the amount of time the ring nodes wait before timing out in the absence of received beacon frames. The timeout value must be at least 2 times the Beacon Interval value, but cannot exceed 500,000. Only available when Supervisor mode is enabled. |
Ring protocol VLAN ID | Specifies the VLAN ID to use in the ring protocol message. Acceptable values: 0 to 4094. Only available when Supervisor mode is enabled. |
Set | Writes pending edits to the device. |
