Power Supply Requirements

For each redundant chassis, use single or redundant power supplies. Redundant power supplies reduce single points of failure and increase system availability. Each power supply includes the option to add annunciator wiring to connect the power supplies to remote input modules. Power supply annunciator wiring enables quick isolation and detection of failures, which directly impacts system maintainability. For more information, see the ControlLogix Redundant Power Supply Installation Instructions, publication 1756-IN620.
