System Components
The components of your system must adhere to specific requirements. Before you set up your system, make sure that you know the requirements and restrictions of each component:
- Redundant chassis pair—Provides fault tolerance by designating primary and secondary chassis for seamless failover.
- I/O modules—Enable accurate data exchange between field devices and controllers.
- HMI—Facilitates operator interaction and system monitoring.
- Optional software—Enhances functionality, diagnostics, and system management.
- Other communication networks—Ensure connectivity across distributed components and external systems.
