Browse devices

Open
ControlFLASH Plus
and then use the
Network Browser
to browse a single device or multiple devices.
To browse the device
  1. Open
    ControlFLASH Plus
    .
  2. On the
    Flash Devices
    tab, select FT Linx or
    Select Browsing from path
    to open the
    Network Browser
    .
  3. In the
    Network Browser
    , select Add a driver.
  4. In the
    Configure Drivers
    dialog box, select
    Ethernet
    for
    Available Driver Types
    , and then click
    Add New
    .
  5. On the
    General
    tab of the
    Configure Driver
    dialog, enter the address, for example, 10.224.120.64 in the box.
  6. Select
    Apply
    , and then select
    OK
    to add a driver.
  7. Find the address node 10.224.120.64, and then expand the nodes under the chassis and the Ethernet bridge if there are any.

  8. In the
    Choose number of levels to browse
    list, select
    3
    as the number of levels.
    TIP:
    • In order to browse more than one device, select a driver shortcut, network, or backplane. Selecting a device will only browse that device.
    • When the browsed devices are shown on the
      Flash Devices
      tab, a backplane or a network node will not be identified as a level, but the devices under them. For more information about the

  9. Select
    OK
    .
    Devices of different levels are shown on the
    Flash Devices
    tab.
