Use the
Channel
X
 - Modbus Slave
 view to configure the Modbus Slave.
Use the
Channel
X
 - Modbus Slave
 view to:
  • Select whether the Modbus transmission format is
    Modbus RTU
     or
    Modbus ASCII
    .
  • Enter the
    Inter-Frame Timeout
     for the
    Modbus RTU
    .
  • Enter the
    Node Address
     of the slave device.
  • Open the diagnostic dialog box to diagnose a communication problem with the Modbus Slave.
The
Modbus Slave
 view is available when
Channel
X
 in the
Device definition
 dialog box is set to
Modbus Slave
.
